After raising their family in a large, traditional home, this couple chose to relocate to Milwaukee’s downtown Lake Michigan shoreline. Thirty stories up, it’s like living in the clouds. High rise living comes with many perks, but it also presents design challenges. What works in a 1920s Tudor won’t necessarily work in a modern high rise. The design team used a careful selection of materials, color palette, and visually powerful design elements to balance and emphasize the star of the show – the view.
