A landmark former university building, designed by architect Andrew Eschweiler in the 1920s, is home to Amy Carman Design and Carman Made, ACD’s general contracting company. Each office space, located within a former classroom, has a unique look and purpose. The Carman Made office, with its L-shaped workstation, serves as both a work area for the Carman Made staff as well as a meeting space. In the ACD studio, samples and resources are stored behind tidy white cabinet doors, accessed by a rolling library ladder. A collection of fly fishing lures adorn the walls, and tailored chairs, a white wool sofa, and a black dining table provide a casual space to gather and collaborate. The central conference room, with white oak herringbone floors and a French mural wallcovering, is used for meetings, presentations and collaboration.
